No-Show & Late Appointment Policy
At Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital, we value your time and the time of all our clients. To keep our schedule running smoothly and ensure that every pet receives the care they need, we ask that you arrive on time and provide advanced notice if you need to cancel.
Late Arrival Policy
If you are running late, we allow a 10-minute grace period. Beyond this window, you may be:
- Offered a work-in appointment (additional fees apply).
- Given the option for a day admission (drop-off appointment).
- Asked to reschedule for another day.
Appointment Cancellations
We understand that schedules change. However, appointments are in high demand, and last-minute cancellations prevent other pets from receiving needed care. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance and leave a voicemail if you’re calling after hours.
No-Show Policy
A "no-show" occurs when a client misses an appointment without prior notice. Our policy is as follows:
- First No-Show: We will contact you via phone, text, or email to remind you of our policy.
- Second No-Show: A $25 non-refundable no-show fee will be applied to your next visit.
- Multiple No-Shows: You will be required to prepay for a physical exam before scheduling any future appointments. If you miss this prepaid appointment, the fee is non-refundable.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide efficient, high-quality veterinary care to all of our patients.

Prescription Policy & Online Pharmacies
At Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital, we prioritize your pet’s health by dispensing only the highest-quality pharmaceutical products. We strongly recommend purchasing medications directly from our in-house pharmacy to ensure safety, manufacturer guarantees, and proper handling.

Ordering Medications Online? Here’s What You Need to Know
We understand that online pharmacies may offer lower prices. If you prefer to purchase medications from a third-party pharmacy, we will provide written prescriptions under the following conditions:
We will issue written prescriptions at no charge, but they must be picked up at our hospital.
We are not responsible for shipping errors, incorrect labeling, or product failures from online retailers. Manufacturer guarantees may not apply to medications purchased outside of licensed veterinary hospitals.
Some online pharmacies source products through unauthorized channels, potentially selling counterfeit, expired, or foreign-labeled medications. The FDA has reported cases of fraudulent claims, illegal sales, and unapproved drugs from certain online sellers.
To ensure product safety, we recommend using a Vet-VIPPS-certified pharmacy. Find accredited options at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy website.
If you have any concerns about purchasing medications online, please talk to our team—we’re happy to help you find a safe, reliable option for your pet.
